The most common questions about our Cooperstown trading pins.
Our custom pins are comprised of steel, iron and/or zinc alloy depending on the shape and size. They are a minimum 1.5mm of solid metal to provide a strong base and high-quality feel.
Soft enamel pins, which are the most popular for curling, are then struck with a custom die based off your pin’s shape and design. These are plated with nickel, brass, copper, or a custom paint color. We even offer unique plating options like anondized (rainbow) or antique metals for an additional cost.
Recessed areas on our soft enamel curling pins are filled with quality enamel paints. The pin receives a nice polish at the end to really make it shine.
Hybrid pins use the same metal base but print the design on the flat surface with a commercial grade UV printer. Options are available to cover the pin in an epoxy coating for additional protection.
New pins are ready to ship within 2-3 weeks of placing your order. Special add-ons or plating may add a few days to production.
When filling out our quote form, you’ll be asked to provide an in-hands date for when you need your pins by. We will not take any orders that we are not certain we can meet your deadline. We understand that your custom curling pins will be needed for specific tournaments and events and can’t be late.

When filling out our quote form, we recommend being as detailed as possible about what you’re looking for in your curling team pins. Attach logos, sketches, and links to social media so we can get a better idea of what you are looking for. With unlimited revisions, we’re certain to design a pin that all the other curlers will be jealous of.
Our metal factory is currently based in China. While we would love to manufacture our pins in the United States, the costs for smaller orders typically found in sports like curling prevents us from offering them at a reasonable price.
Despite that, our entire customer service and art team is based in the United States.
Yes! Our free shipping includes our neighbors to the North. Please note that this does not include any taxes that the Canadian government or individual provinces may levy on items.
